SCARF Organization Inc Anchored Mentoring Program
SCARF, Org Kick Off!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of SCARF Organization’s groundbreaking Anchored Mentorship Program, designed to empower, and support young males who are currently at risk!
Our mentorship initiative aims to provide valuable guidance, mentorship, and a supportive network for male students navigating the challenges of academic and personal growth. We believe that fostering these connections can have a profound impact on their journey toward success.
Qualifications to Participate: The Anchored Mentoring Program is designed to cater to a diverse range of individuals, including males aged 11 through 19. Eligible participants encompass teen fathers, children of incarcerated parent(s), male students with current or past involvement in the Department of Juvenile Justice, those re-quiring academic intervention or facing academic challenges, individuals in need of behavioral intervention or at risk of school expulsion, disconnected male youth (middle and high school-aged males between 11-19 years old who have dropped out of school), and male students residing in Polk, Osceola, or Orange counties.
Key Program Highlights:
1. Personalized Mentorship: Each mentee will be paired with a dedicated mentor who will offer guidance, share experiences, and provide valuable insights to enhance personal and academic development.
2. Holistic Support: Our program goes beyond academic assistance. Mentors will focus on fostering well-rounded individuals, addressing personal growth, remaining in school, career aspirations, and life skills.
3. Community Engagement: We envision a vibrant community where mentees can connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships with their peers and mentors.
